Packing tip from The Little Filipina: You get a small seat and enough space for a small daypack and one suitcase or similar. If you bring more luggage they will ask you to buy another seat. You will not get an extra seat though — that is just how it works. They fill the van to the maximum with people and luggage, so expect to sit with your bag in your lap even if you paid for two seats. If you book a private van they may still ask if they can add more people. Just say no.
